Welcome to Thoresby Class!

I’m delighted to be Thoresby’s Class Teacher this year and am very much looking forward to the exciting year ahead. I’ll be supported in class by Mrs. Batters and Mrs. Bend, and together we are committed to making this a happy, successful, and memorable year for all the children.

PE Days & Kit
Our PE days are Mondays and Wednesdays. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing suitable footwear and the correct PE kit: plain black shorts or joggers without any logos, and no earrings on PE days for safety reasons.

Equipment
There’s no need for children to bring a pencil case or any stationery to school, as all equipment will be provided.

Learning & Communication
You can find key information about what your child will be learning this year in the Learning Overview. In addition, we’ll send home half-termly newsletters with further details about homework, PE, and important dates. These newsletters will also be available on the school website.

Home Support
Your continued support with weekly spellings, homework, and regular reading at home is hugely appreciated and makes a real difference to support children in school.
