Great Bread Baking Challenge
Yesterday the children in Clumber Class had the exciting challenge of creating five different flavoured breads.
The children worked in teams of four or five to bake their bread rolls. The children had to use lots of mathematics skills to weigh out and measure all of the ingredients. They also discovered some exciting science facts relating to the yeast and how this works to make the bread rise.
It was lovely to see the children working together, sharing equipment and helping each other follow the recipe instructions.
The finished products were bread rolls flavoured with banana, sun dried tomato, dried fruits, cinnamon and cheese.
What a wonderful job you did. Well done Clumber Class.
