Week 1

In computing this week, we learnt how to sort objects away from a computer. We looked at how we could group the shapes due to their properties. We have a go at sorting the shapes on paper and our challenge was to have a go on the computer. 

Week 2

In our Computing lesson this week, we sorted objects on a computer. We had a go at different tasks. They explained how we should sort the shapes and then we had a go ourselves. The tasks started easy and then became more challenging.

Week 3

This week in computing, we started to learn about spreadsheets. We had a look at what a spreadsheet looked like and then we spent some time exploring the program. After, we went through each stage. First we learnt how to put numbers into a spreadsheet, then how to write in a spreadsheet and finally how to use the calculator. 

Week 4

Unfortunately we didn’t do computing as it was bank holiday Monday.

Week 5

In computing, we are continuing to learn about spreadsheets. This week, we learnt how to use clip art and create our own pictures to put in the spreadsheet. We then used clip art to insert pictures of animals to create our own zoos.
