World Environment Day 2024

For World Environment Day, we discussed the importance of recycling and how we recycle different materials into different places. We had a go at this ourselves using different items and putting them in the correct 'bins'. Then, we discussed the importance of protecting our marine life from plastic pollution and how plastic can end up in the seas, damaging the creatures who live there. We completed some activities surrounding this - using our inference skills to think about what the animals might be thinking and feeling, learning more about the animals through reading and comprehension questions and finally completing some mindfulness colouring. A super day!
