We have learnt all about Silvania Costa de Oliveira, who is a Brazilian Paralympic, gold medal winning long jumper! She has a visual impairment, but still managed to win a gold medal in the long jump event at the Tokyo Paralympics. We watched her winning jump and discussed the similarities and differences between the Paralympic event and the Olympic long jump. We then had a go at both of these! We learnt that it is much harder to run and jump when you can see very little.

This afternoon, we have been lucky to see Matt from SJR, who taught us all about dribbling and allowed us to play some mini games. He also spoke to us about how to be a good winner.
