This week, I have been super impressed with how hard our Pupil of the Week has worked on her handwriting, letter formation and spelling. She is beginning to check back through her work and correct any errors herself, which is amazing! She is always smiling and has a positive attitude to learning too. A real superstar to have in the class - well done! 

This superstar has impressed me for being willing and able to work more independently during lessons and always having a go at each task. He has been concentrating on phonic sounds and applying these when spelling words in writing, thinking about alternative sounds. He has enjoyed learning more about our football topic and studying the life of Walter Tull, engaging well in lessons and listening carefully. Well done! 

This week's Pupil of the Week was chosen for an excellent attitude to learning and a huge improvement in dedication and commitment to learning. She has been working hard on her spelling and handwriting during English writing lessons and will check she is correct by taking advice from adults in the room. She is a kind, helpful individual and thinks carefully about the feelings of others, making her a great friend to all in the class. Great work!
