In History, the children have been learning all about Ancient Civilisations. We discussed what the term 'civilisations' meant and compiled a list of ancient civilisations that we already know of. We looked at a timeline and had to order it correctly, looking at the meaning of 'AD' and 'BC' to help develop our understanding of when the civilisation was around. 

Following from our lesson about different ancient civilisations, we conducted some research based on each civilisations to determine what they required in order to survive. We discussed their location, what they ate and how they survived with the hierarchy.
