Welcome to Clumber Class!

I’m so thrilled to be able to continue teaching the children this year and see them through Year 3 and their entry into Key Stage 2! I know it will be an exciting and successful year. I’ll be supported in class by Miss Rowley, and the children have already made her feel very welcome in our school. 

PE Days & Kit

Our PE days continue to be Mondays and Fridays. Please ensure your child comes to school with the appropriate PE kit and suitable footwear on these days. For safety reasons, children must not wear earrings on PE days. If your child has earrings that cannot be removed independently, please ensure they are removed or covered before coming to school.

Equipment

There’s no need for children to bring a pencil case or any stationery to school, as all equipment will be provided.

Learning & Communication

You can find key information about what your child will be learning this year in the Learning Overview. We’ll also send home half-termly newsletters with further information about our learning, homework, PE and important dates.

Home Support

Your continued support with weekly spellings, times tables, homework and regular reading at home is hugely appreciated. These small, regular routines make a real difference to your child’s progress and confidence.
