Homework - 19.04.2024
Homework set: Friday 19th April 2024
Homework due: Wednesday 24th March 2024
Dear Parents/Carers,
The children have had a fantastic first week back! We have been looking at and comparing Haiku and Tanka poems. The children have enjoyed following the strict rules of each poem, using the correct amount of syllables per line whilst focusing on a season of their choice. In Maths, we have started learning about decimals and how to spot tenths as fractions and decimals. We discussed what the decimal point means and why it is used. In Science, we have been learning about electricity and had lots of discussions about appliances that use technology.
Homework
For your homework this week, I have attached a worksheet for the children to write on, so that they can tell me about their favourite thing that has happened over the Easter holiday!
