We have already learnt a lot about water safety as part of our PSHE curriculum, but this week was a super opportunity to recap on our prior knowledge and ensure we had remembered it!
We had a discussion about how to stay safe around water and discussed what we had already learnt. Then, we extended this by spotting the dangers on pictures, thinking about which dangers are being identified and how we could protect ourselves.
We recapped on what to do in an emergency and who to contact. Then, we did some role play activities, where we practised how to respond in an emergency and put into practise all of our learning!
