Pride Awareness Day 2024! 

 

All of the children looked amazing today dressed in either rainbow colours or in a way that expresses them or their interests. 

We started the day by reading an excellent book called 'Kenny lives with Erica and Martina' and we thought about how important it is for everyone to feel welcome in a community.

 

After this, we discussed what the word 'proud' actually means. We talked about the ways in which we are all different and unique, before drawing pictures of ourselves and writing about why we are proud of ourselves.
