PRIDE IN YEAR 6
In Year 6, we discussed different types of relationships and how these can be formed. We spoke about the qualities of a positive relationship and how through life our relationships can change. We also spoke about what it means to be attracted to others and recognised the importance that everyone has the right to be loved and that this can be shown in many different ways. We spoke about our self-worth and what gender identity is.
We then created some fantastic posters detailing the importance of equality. The children felt it important that all protected characteristics were discussed and included.
