Dear Parents/Carers,

It was so great to meet with you all for parents evening. The children have had a great first week back and they have enjoyed our new book 'The Explorer'. Our topic for the term is rainforests. 

Homework This week children have been set 3 tasks on Purple Mash for them to complete.

Homework is due in on Wednesday 1st March

Reading

Please continue to encourage your child to read at least three times a week and record it in your child's diary. Each week your child will get sticker on their bookmark if they have read three times. 

Please can your child bring their reading book and reading diary to school everyday. Reading books will continue to be changed on a Friday.

Spellings

Please ensure that your child is practising their spellings as it is so important for their writing. Spelling Shed is available for children to practise their spellings. The spelling tests will be every Friday.

exercise, medicine, breath, business, caught, different, extreme, possession, although and thought.

Times Table Rockstars:

Please could children go on TTRS at least once a week for practise of their times tables.We have a times table test each Friday which is superhero themed. 

Just a reminder that it is World Book Day on Thursday 3rd of March. Children can come dressed in pyjamas and bring a bed time story.
