Sherwood
In Sherwood class, we celebrated Pride day by first looking at the Pride flag. We discussed the meaning behind each different colour and thought about how this flag can represent lots of different groups of people. We compared it to the Lego set 'Everyone is Awesome'. After this, we designed our own flags to represent our own best qualities, beliefs and hobbies - everything that makes us unique.
For our second lesson, we talked about different types of prejudice and discrimination. We looked at different examples and wrote about how each different type of discrimination can and should be challenged.
