Dear Parents/Carers,

The children have had a wonderful week! They have really enjoyed consolidating their learning and developing their confidence with answering reasoning and problem solving questions alongside developing their fluency. We have been recapping times tables and it is wonderful to see how confident they are all getting. In English, the children have been identifying the features of instructions and have really enjoyed guiding each other across the trim trail whilst focusing on the vocabulary they are using to ensure the other child knows where they are going. 

Homework

For your homework this week, I have set a multiplication game on Purple Mash for you all to complete in preparation for the Multiplication Check. Also, I have attached a reading comprehension worksheet. 

Homework is due in on Wednesday 20th March 2024. 

Reading

Please continue to encourage your child to read at least three times a week and record it in your child's diary. Each week your child will get sticker on their bookmark if they have read three times. 

Please can your child bring their reading book and reading diary to school everyday. Reading books will continue to be changed on a Friday.

Times Table Test

For this week, please can your child continue to practise all of the times tables ready for their test on Friday 22nd March. Please try and encourage your child to use Times Tables Rockstar to practise their times tables.
