Remembrance Day

We have been learning about Remembrance Day today and why we take part in it each year. We learnt what the poppy represents and thought about the soldiers who have died or been injured in the wars. We then made our own poppies by painting our handprints and making a poppy shape out of them.

We finished off our special day with an assembly from Helen Murray where we held a two minutes silence at 11am to remember all of those people affected by the wars. Well done, Elmton Class!
