Remembrance Day

This week we completed lots of work to recognise the importance of remembering those who lost their lives at war. As a class we created a poppy wreath to lay at our school Remembrance service and completed some pastel and watercolour art work. We also wrote some fantastic prayers.

Some of the children in Welbeck class read poems and verses from the Bible in our school service. I am so pleased that these children were confident to volunteer and I was extremely proud of how confidently they spoke in front of a large audience.

Take a look at some of the fantastic pieces of work created by children in Welbeck.
