Homework - 05.01.2024

Homework set: Friday 5th January 2024

Homework due: Wednesday 10th January 2024 by 4pm

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thoresby Class have had a brilliant start to the term! We have been looking at what the main features of a diary entry are and discussed if children have ever had a diary before and the features they used to write it. This includes: first person, using time conjunctions to link events, describing the writer's point of view and using the past tense. In Maths, Thoresby Class have been working really hard on learning how to divide by 100 and using related facts to help work out the answer to difficult multiplication and division problems.

For your homework this week, I would like you to research some information about The Maya! Please try to include some dates of when and where the Maya lived.
