Today we are focusing on the poem a tiny burning flame. I would like you to read the poem aloud to your grown up. We are focusing on writing our own poem today using our senses. Can you name your five senses? I would like you to complete the work sheet and use the vocabulary to help you.
Phonics:
Today in phonics we're going to be completing a phonics hunt! I would like you to read a range of books. How many phase 5 sounds can you find? Can you find 'ph', 'wh' 'o-e' 'i-e' etc? How many split digraphs can you find? Challenge... can you find any words with suffixes? such as ed, es and ing.
RE-
Today we are thinking about leaders. Who do you know that's a leader? For example, Jesus. Can you think why they were/are a leader? I would like you to think about how you can be a good leader. What would make you a good leader? Have a look at the PowerPoint and complete a poster about you being a good leader. Draw a picture of you in the middle and write sentences underneath.
