Geography
This week, we have recapped our knowledge of the months of the year and how as we progress through the year the seasons will change. Following from this, we looked at the types of weather we would experience during each season and the children have been keeping a weather diary to monitor how the weather has changed each day. We explored different ways we could find out the weather forecast and began to start looking at how the weather can impact our daily lives.
This week we have had our first Geography lesson of the year where we learnt about the months of the year and how these are split into the four seasons - Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. We learnt which months are in which season and discussed what the weather was like at each different time of year. Refresh your memory using the song we learnt in our lesson and try and teach your grown ups what you know!
