Phonics focus of the day - 7th May, 2020 -

Today is a language lesson focus - I would like you to read/write some sentences that will use the sounds we have been learning this week. There has been a few trigraphs this week so let's see if you can remember them!

First of all I would like you to re-cap on all the sounds/videos from this week. You could even have a look back to previous week's. It is really good to make sure you are looking back at the sounds as often as you can.

  • Ask a grown up to write down this sentence - 'It is all clear' - Can you read it?
  • Here is another sentence for you to read - 'Can you send an airmail letter?'
  • If a grown up reads you this sentence - Can you write it down? Remember capital letters, finger spaces and full stops! - I had a short haircut.

Well done everyone! You have been learning some very tricky sounds over the last week - I wonder how many you now know?
