Diwali - The Festival of Light

This week in Creswell Class, we have been learning all about Diwali. We have enjoyed listening to the story of Rama and Sita and we have been using puppets and actions to retell the story.

 

The children have also enjoyed trying on some traditional clothing such as saris, kurtas and some beautiful jewellery. We have also been painting lots of pictures of the characters from the story of Rama and Sita.
