Dear Parents/Carers,

Well done Clumber Class, we have had a brilliant week at school. We have started our new class book, 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughs and written fantastic character descriptions to describe the Iron Man. The children have also made a beautiful wreath for Remembrance Day and painted wonderful poppy fields. 

Homework

This week for your homework, I would like you complete the conjunctions worksheet. The children have all got a paper copy of the worksheet. 

Homework is due Wednesday 17th November by 4:00pm.

Reading

Please continue to encourage your child to read at least three times a week and record it on Clumber's Reading Log. Each week your child will get sticker on their bookmark if they have read three times. Reading books will be changed on a Friday so please complete the reading log before the following Friday.

Times Table Test

On a Friday, Clumber Class will be having a times table test. For this week, please can your child practice the 4 times table ready for their test on Friday 19th November. Please try and encourage your child to use Times Tables Rockstar to practice their times tables.
