In English today, we are going to do a Big Write. I would like you to use your plan to help you write your story of the Stone Age Boy. Remember to use capital letter, full stops, expanded noun phrases, conjunctions and similes!
Here is an example we did in class:
One sunny, windy day a boy was running across a soft, green hill and fell down a deep, dark, huge hole. When the boy woke up, he saw bright, shining daylight in the distance but he was in a cold, dark place. He followed the light and found himself in the Stone Age.
The boy was walking slowly across the cold, scary grassland. Suddenly, he saw a shadow and bumped into a beautiful, strange girl. The boy thought, 'She doesn't look like any of the girls I know'.
