We love to read!

We have recently been thinking about the books we love to read and how reading helps us develop a range of essential skills. The children enjoyed sharing their favourite books with the class and they have enjoyed drawing characters from popular books. The children enjoy spending time in our reading area during the day and will often share and discuss books with their friends.
We have recently placed a greater focus on reading comprehension and we are continuing to develop the skills needed to fully understand a text that we are reading.
