Think about a book character and write a riddle describing your character. Try and include at least five clues for each book character and start off with harder clues before making them easier. Also, try to include adjectives and similes.
Can you guess who I am describing?
I can work out big sums in my head,
My best friend sounds like a flower,
And my teacher is as sweet as honey.
What book am I?
This book is about an eight year old boy,
Who got into a lot of mischief,
He even gave his granny a different medicine’
And she grew and grew.
What book am I?
Think about the different supervillains that we see written about in books.
- Can you name any?
- What do these supervillains look like?
- What clothes do they wear?
- What powers do they have?
Today, I would like you to draw and label a supervillain. Try to design something different to supervillains that you have read about.
After drawing your supervillain, I would like you to write a description about it. Try to include the following:
- paragraphs- think about how your villain moves, their personality, how they talk etc.
- adjectives
- similes
- alliteration
- a range of punctuation including parenthesis and semi colons.
Your description should be at least one and a half pages long.
How many of these questions about books can you answer correctly?
Remember to continue to practise your lines and the songs for the show!
