Sport's Relief

We had a great day on Friday 21st March making money for Sport's Relief.

We started the morning by learning about Daniel who works in a gold mine in Ghana. He is the sort of person that the money we raise can help. It was great to see how much he enjoyed his school place which was made possible by funds raised by projects such as Sport's Relief.

In Numeracy we looked at finding averages of sporting events. This involved measuring our own performance, collecting results from the team and calculating the average.

In the afternoon we worked around different activities. Welbeck Weightlifting, Creswell Cricket, Rufford Rowers and Thoresby Throwing. It was a great day and we raised lots of money.

Thank you Mrs Bellamy for organising the day and all the volunteers involved.
