Homework - 02.02.2024

Homework set: Friday 2nd February 2024

Homework due: Wednesday 7th February 2024

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thoresby have had a brilliant week! We have been continuing to look at the different features of an advert and tried to implement their persuasive language in our own work. The children have started planning their adverts and have included lots of research about a day trip/holiday destination of their choice that they want to include to persuade their audience. In Maths, we have been finding the length and perimeter of rectilinear shapes and polygons. We have even been finding missing lengths to work out the perimeter. The children have enjoyed recapping the names of different parts of their body in French and have now started using adjectives to describe parts of a body.

For your homework this week, I would like you to complete the reading comprehension questions please. We have been really focusing on expanding our vocabulary.
