I hope that you are all well. I have recently been in contact with Portland who are working hard to sort Y6 transitions. Obviously, this is difficult at the moment with the uncertainty of school closures, however we are keen to ensure children feel as prepared as they can for secondary school. If you have any questions relating to transitions you can email Portland on transition@portland.outwood.com I am also more than happy to answer any questions or queries. I will also keep you updated with any other information that I receive.

Hello Y6 children and parents,

I hope you are all okay. Below I have attached a document that I have received from Portland this morning. Over the month of July they will be adding videos of taster curriculum lessons to prepare you for what learning looks like at Portland. You do not need to stick to the timetable but I am sure for some of you this will be beneficial in helping you prepare. 

I understand that this is a difficult time for you all and I want to remind you how fantastic you all are and how much you have all achieved this year. I am so proud of you all and I know that you will all be fantastic when you move to year 7. If you are worried about anything please let me know.
