History
This half term in History, we are focusing on the history of our local area and how things have changed in schools over time. We discussed different generations and how things might have been different in schools during our grandparents or great grandparents childhoods. We learnt more about discipline, behaviour and technology during these times and also discussed sources of historical information, identifying where we can find key facts from and the benefits of these sources. We also thought about the questions we might like to ask people who went to school before us.
This week, we learnt more about what schools were like in the past and studied some interesting pictures to see how classrooms were presented and what playground games were being played. We discussed the similarities and differences between then and now.
