Remembrance Day

We have been getting crafty in The Sunshine Suite by making our own poppy brooches.

 

After carefully following a set of instructions we have been able to cut out our poppy templates and sew the felt pieces together to make these lovely poppies. We will be able to wear them every year to show our respect and remember all of the people who have been involved in conflicts.

 

Following our work on Remembrance Day we made bread cobs and topped them with poppy seeds. They looked delicious and we took them home to share with our families.
