Dear Parents/Carers,

Well done Clumber Class, we have had another fantastic week at school. We have enjoyed describing Pompeii and learning about the layers of the Earth using play dough. 

Homework

For your homework, I would like your child to complete the short multiplication worksheet that has been sent home with your child. If they need any help, here is a video that explains the method: https://st-lukes-church-of-england-notts.primarysite.media/media/column-multiplication-with-exchange

Homework is due in on Wednesday 26th January by 4pm.

Reading

Please continue to encourage your child to read at least three times a week and record it in your child's diary. Each week your child will get sticker on their bookmark if they have read three times. 

From Monday, please can your child bring their reading book and reading diary to school everyday. Reading books will continue to be changed on a Friday.

Times Table Test

On a Friday, Clumber Class will be having a times table test. For this week, please can your child practice the 8 times table ready for their test on Friday 28th January. Please try and encourage your child to use Times Tables Rockstar to practice their times tables.
