Pancake Day - Shrove Tuesday

This week, we have started our new topic ‘Splendid Skies’. We have been learning all about Pancake Day this week and I know that you all enjoyed getting to try some and choose your own toppings! Which was your favourite topping? We have also been learning how Christians celebrate this day and how this then leads into Ash Wednesday and Lent.

In literacy, we have really enjoyed read the story of 'Mr Wolf's Pancakes' by Jan Fearnley. If you would like to listen to this again, please click on the link below. It had a very 'surprising' ending!!!
