Geography
Today we discussed how London has changed since 1666 and have used artists impressions of maps to compare to images off of Google Earth. We discussed how London has become a popular tourist attraction and the children could name many exciting places that they have visited when in London.
We then started to look at an aerial view of London and compare it to an aerial view of Shireoaks. We discussed how London has more buildings and is much bigger than Shireoaks.
Finally, some children looked at an atlas to locate different countries.
