In our art lesson, we were learning about printing. We first looked at a range of different prints and then created our own printing patterns using a range of sponges. After, we designed a template of a printing stamp. We created our printing stamps with card and string,
Week 2
In our art lesson this week, we looked at an artist called Ester Mahlangu. We looked at her designs and techniques, discussing the patterns and colours she uses. We then made our own repeating patter design using square paper to help us. Next week, we are going to turn our designs in a piece of artwork.
