Rufford Class
Welcome to Rufford Class !
Rufford Class are a mixture of Year 1 and Year 2 children. Mrs Younger, Mrs Bellamy, Mrs Green and Mrs Batters teach the children in Rufford Class. We have lots of exciting topics to look forward to this year which the children have chosen themselves:
Autumn term 1 – Changing rooms - Houses and homes – Where do I live? What is my house like?
Autumn term 2 – Light of the world – Christmas, Nativity, Hannukah, Celebrations around the world, electricity
Spring term 1 – Once upon a time – Fairy tales, Favourite stories
Spring term 2 – Up, up and away – Space, Journeys, Aeroplanes, Animals that fly!
Summer 1 – Green fingers! – Growing our own fruit and vegetables, Where does our food come from?
Summer 2 – Under the sea – Sea creatures, Ocean life, boats, pirates!
