Sherwood class has a mix of Year 2 and Year 3 children and is taught by Mr. Delafield. We also have Mrs Bellamy and Mrs Reders to help us learn new and exciting things.
In the Summer Term we have looked at fashion and animals. Spring term was all about Ancient Egypt. The Autumn term saw us learning about water and travel.
Sunita Patel came to visit us and tell us all about India. We got to dress up, paint and make rice pattern plates. We also had a visit from Comando Joe to talk about fitness and health. Our class governor, Mrs Needham came in to visit the class. Mr Dodds came in to do some Science with us. Mr Harvey came to teach us about neat handwriting. Mr Harvey comes in often to do special Assemblies. Lee James came from skip hop to show us all some tricks with a skipping rope.
In September we started off our topic on Water with a trip to The Deep in Hull. In June we visited the Snibston Discovery Park in Coalville, Leicestershire. We also celebrated Harvest at St. Luke's church.
We had a special Science morning for parents and children in October. We also had a fashion through the ages workshop in May. We had a special book week, including coming dressed up as our favourite book characters.
