Thoresby Class
Welcome to Thoresby Class!
Thoresby Class are Year 3 and 4 children, taught by Mrs Cushing and Mrs Wood on Wednesday mornings.
In Thoresby class, the children have chosen the topics we will learn about over the year.
They are:
The Titanic
Volcanoes
World War 2
Nature
Universe
Human Bodies
These topics were all chosen by the children. We're looking forward to learning more about them!
In Thoresby class we work hard and try our best to follow our school's golden expectations.
Routines
Our PE days are on Monday and Friday, though we recommend you have your PE kits at school throughout the week, just in case!
Your child will have a reading diary, to be written in when you listen to your child read. Your child will change their reading book independently when they need to from a range of Oxford Reading Tree and X-Project and Bug Club books in school.
Homework is given out on Fridays and is due in on Wednesdays.
This term we are, yet again, quadblogging! We will be blogging with schools in Lincolnshire, Worcestershire and the USA!
