Mental Health & Wellbeing

We learnt about what a positive attitude is and how we could be more positive individuals. We discussed how our attitude has an impact on others and how we could be responsible for our own happiness. We then shared what happiness means to us. Have a look at some examples below!

School Council

Alice and Kai are our new school council representatives! They will support the class and school in a range of ways and represent us as Thoresby Class at meetings. They will be responsible for improving the wellbeing of the class and will be important in spotting and rectifying anything children may be having issues with.

Eco Schools

Elsie and Thula are our Eco Schools ambassadors and they will be responsible for creating ways the school and class can be more environmentally friendly! We understand how important it is to look after the world around us and these two children will be able to share the ideas of the class as our representatives at meetings.

Take 5

Meet our Thoresby Class Take 5 ambassadors! These children are responsible for leading the Take 5 activities after lunch. This gives us a few minutes to concentrate on our breathing and clear our minds ready for afternoon lessons. It is so important to spend some time completing mindfulness activities and this is one that all the class enjoy!
