This week (14th-18th June) is My Money Week, supported by Young Enterprise and Santander. It is an opportunity for children to learn more about financial matters and prepare them for later life.
To celebrate this week, we are asking children to take part in some of the suggested home activities, offering parents an opportunity to help their child understand some ways they use money to pay for things their family needs. It also provides a chance to discuss how changing the way we do things can help us save money for our future needs and wants.
If you would like to take part in any of the activities, you can find the list of suggestions here - please send photos of your achievements to your class email so that the learning can be shared with the whole class.
We would like all photos to be emailed by Friday 9th July and we will then be able to share some throughout school.
Please follow the link to the Wellbeing section of our school website where you can find further information about online safety. You will be able to access a resource about Keeping Children and Young People Safe in a Digital World .This is an online safety workshop for parents/carers by Katherine Marshall and Lorna Naylor (Anti-Bullying and Online Safety Co-ordinators in the TETC Team- Nottinghamshire County Council)
