Anti-Bullying Week 2023

Anti-Bullying Week 2023

This year, the theme of Anti-Bullying Week is 'Make a Noise' and discusses the importance of everyone speaking out against bullying. It teaches us that every voice is equally as important. It also dives in to the concept of 'banter' and how this is sometimes used to disguise bullying.

Our children have been learning lots this week, alongside the learning we do through the curriculum.

We started by drawing pictures of ourselves, which will then form part of a whole-school display, sharing the importance of everyone's individual voice creating one big voice.

On Monday, we also took part in Odd Socks Day, which is an annual event to begin Anti-Bullying Week. We all wore odd socks to celebrate that everyone is different and unique

Throughout the week, we also started planting new bulbs around the school grounds. We discussed how these bulbs will grow and develop at their own pace, and will all be unique and special when they do.

We also completed activities in our classes. Please see below for more information and photos of each of these events!
