Hello Welbeck Class, Parents and Carers,

I hope that you are all well. Firstly, as you can imagine this week has been a long, tiring week for the children and I wanted to start off by saying how incredibly well they handled their SATs assessments. I am incredibly proud of how hard the children worked, their calmness when completing their SATs and their maturity. Throughout the week the children were reminded to do the best that they can and I know the feedback that I have received off of the children has been positive. They should all feel incredibly proud of themselves.

Today we had a photographer in from the Worksop Guardian. They will be publishing photos of all year 6 leavers from Worksop schools in July. They have sent a letter, informing parents/carers how they can purchase a copy of the paper and this has been added to the class webpage.

On Tuesday we have a member of staff visiting from Portland who will answer any questions that the children have about their transition and starting in September. Please take the time to speak to your child about this and if you have any questions please either email them to the class email address or ask your child to bring them in on Tuesday so that we can ask them. I will try and compose a list of all the questions and answers and add them to the class page.

Any further information that I receive from secondary schools will be added to the class webpage and sent over Marvellous Me.

Homework- This week the children have worked incredibly hard with their year 6 SATs. Their homework this week is to relax, enjoy themselves and do something fun.

Thank you for your continued support. As always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Tomlinson
