History and Geography Day

Friday 18th January was a very exciting day for Welbeck class.

 

As part of the whole school History and Geography day we all took part in mini projects about famous inventors.

 

We took a multi-modal approach to our work, producing art, writing, graphs, chart and videos (which you can see below).

 

There was even chance to see inventions in action, using a telescope and a Hornby train set.

 

The children really enjoyed the day, I heard it described as "awesome" by quite a few pupils, and we all learned lots too.
