Anglo-Saxons
For the first term our topic is "The Anglo-Saxons".
When we discussed our topics in July, many of the children were keen to find out about some of the Kings and Queens who have ruled England. In this topic we find out about lots of them as there were many kingdoms during the Anglo-Saxon era.
We have also learned about how we became a Christian country and the early British saints that established Christianity in places such as Iona, Lindisfarne and Canterbury.
