Morning Task

 

Please have a go at todays arithmetic task. You may take as long as you need on the questions.

Maths

 

For our maths lesson today, we will be solving multiplication word problems. 

 

I would like you to choose either the column multiplication method or the grid method (or even both methods if you wish) to use, to answer the questions.

Please take your time. We have completed a lot of work on word problems. Remember to use the numbers from the question. Once you have used a method to solve the multiplication, please write a sentence to explain it. For example, there are 315 apples altogether.

 

There are two worksheets to choose from. Please choose the worksheet you are more comfortable with. 

English

 

For your English task, we will be focusing on developing our comprehension skills.

 

Please take your time to read the comprehension. It is about the ocean. After you have read the text, please answer the questions. Your answers need to be written in sentences, unless the question states otherwise.

 

Remember to underline the information in the text before writing your answer!

Geography

 

For our Geography topic this half term, we will be looking at different aspects from around the world. 

 

Today, we are going to learn about the different food customs from around the world. Every countries is different and enjoys to eat a range of food. Please read the PowerPoint to find out how different countries and cultures eat their food.

 

For your task today. Please research different countries, what their flag is and the types of food they eat. Please use the worksheet to help you.

EGPS

 

In EGPS, we are now going to look at sentence types. Today, we will be recapping compound sentences.
