Performance Poetry

In Literacy we have been learning about poetry and famous rhymes. Today we read the poems Pussy Cat, Pussy Cat and Two Little Dicky Birds. We discussed the punctuation used and started to discuss the importance of a verse. In small groups the children then practised their poems before performing them to the class. The children remembered to perform with clear speech, actions and enthusiasm. Well done children!
