Last week we finished our harvest/autumn poems and copied them up to have them on display in our classroom.
This week in Maths we have been learning to round to the nearest 10, 100, 1000 and 10,000. We have also been learning how to multiply using the column method.
In Science we have been thinking about how we can help save endangered animals. The children had some fantastic ideas as to how they can help with recycling and saving energy.
This week we have been learning about the painting style of Charlie Mackesy using his book 'The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse'. We spoke about how his book is extremely powerful and helps us think about our lives and how we should be kinder to ourselves. We had a fantastic discussion about lots of different quotes and the children gave some very mature answers based on each quote. Take a look at some of the fantastic pieces of artwork.
