Reading Reward

We have had a lovely afternoon celebrating the excellent reading that we have done this year. The children brought their favourite teddy bears from home to join them on the class picnic and were all very excited to show their friends their teddy bears. The children decided that an indoor picnic sounded very exciting so they had a picnic in the classroom while watching a film and completing teddy bear activities.
Well done to all children for excellent reading this year. I have really noticed a difference in their reading throughout the year and it has been lovely seeing the children bring in books from home to read in school.
