Caribbean Cooking

This week our travels 'Around the World' have taken us to the Caribbean island of Jamaica.
We have been finding out lots of interesting facts about Jamaica including some typical dishes.

 

Today we had a go at making a jerk chicken marinade which we have left overnight before cooking tomorrow.

 

We had to chop lots of onion, pepper and garlic before adding the all important spices and herbs.
We found out that allspice comes from Jamaica and it smells very strong!
