Dear Parents/Carers,

Well done Clumber Class, we have had another excellent week at school. We had an excellent French day learning about the French culture. We also started our new class book, 'Escape from Pompeii'. 

Homework

For your homework, I would like you to complete the task on Purple Mash. It is a description of a Volcano. Please use expanded noun phrases, similes and conjunctions in your description.

Homework is due in on Wednesday 19th January by 4pm.

Reading

Please continue to encourage your child to read at least three times a week and record it in your child's diary. Each week your child will get sticker on their bookmark if they have read three times. 

From Monday, please can your child bring their reading book and reading diary to school everyday. Reading books will continue to be changed on a Friday.

Times Table Test

On a Friday, Clumber Class will be having a times table test. For this week, please can your child practice the 3 and 4 times table ready for their test on Friday 21st January. Please try and encourage your child to use Times Tables Rockstar to practice their times tables.
